Test Engineer Job Opportunity at Thule Sweden AB - Sports & Cargo Development

Part of the Sports & Cargo development projects, contributing to the development of safe, reliable, and high-quality products by planning and performing testing according to defined test plans, internal standards, and external requirements.

• Plan and perform testing according to defined test plans, internal standards, and external customer or regulatory requirements
• Conduct hands-on testing across static, environmental, dynamic, user, driving, and misuse areas
• Translate standards into practical, relevant test methods reflecting real customer usage scenarios
• Collaborate with R&D engineers and project teams to provide test results, measurements, and analysis
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of test methods for continuous improvement
• Plan and carry out maintenance of test and support equipment
• Document test results through test reports and other relevant documentation
• Support R&D and Quality with testing and evaluations related to claim cases
• Plan test resources within the assigned area to ensure efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Mechatronics or Electronics)
• Strong technical interest and hands-on problem-solving ability
• Experience in product development and/or product testing (advantage)
• Experience with mechanical, environmental, or material testing (advantage)
• Experience with mechatronics, electronic testing, fabric and soft goods materials, standards and compliance, or the automotive industry (advantage)
