Our products propel communications services for mobile operators and enterprises around the globe. We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer with focus on AI-driven Development, to accelerate adoption of AI-powered development practices across Sinch Telco.\n\nIn this role, you’ll be a hands-on practitioner, leveraging AI agents to design, build and deliver software while shaping how AI is applied in real engineering environments. Together we will move toward a paradigm where software developers manage teams of specialized virtual AI agents for requirements analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. We intend to unlock new capabilities that enable teams to build and ship faster with higher quality, security, and maintainability.\n\nYou see the future of AI-driven development clearly but understand that progress requires practical steps and patience. The AI tooling landscape changes rapidly and you are energized by this pace.\n\nAs our Principal Software Engineer, you will:\n\n Act as a highly productive, hands-on software engineer using AI agent orchestration to deliver features and products across multiple areas\n Define, evolve, and scale best practices, workflows, and tooling for AI-assisted development across coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.\n Evaluate, select, and configure emerging AI development tools and agent frameworks.\n Create reusable agent configurations, custom instructions, and workflows tailored to the organization's codebases.\n Partner with engineers, architects, and product managers to define clear requirements and product direction using a product management-informed perspective.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n 8+ years of software engineering experience with proven ability to design, evaluate, and evolve software architectures.\n Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system integration. Experience with telecom systems, BSS/OSS, messaging infrastructure, or CPaaS is a plus.\n Hands-on experience applying AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, in real-world software delivery, not just experimentation.\n Experience working with AI-driven and agent-based development workflows, including autonomous coding agents and multistep task orchestration.\n Ability to define clear, structured, and decomposable requirements for both engineers and AI agents, with strong product awareness and understanding of the “why” behind solutions.\n Practical experience with Model Context Protocol, tool-use patterns, or equivalent integration standards for reliable multi-agent/tool orchestration. Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph is a plus.\n Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts, document approaches, and collaborate effectively across teams.\n\nOur corporate language is English, please submit your application in English.\n\nWe are not supporting relocation at this time.
